Former Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 and Miss Universe 2024 first runner-up, Chidimma Adetshina, is facing one of the biggest challenges of her life as she battles deportation proceedings in South Africa, the country where she was born and raised.

The 25-year-old beauty queen appeared before the Cape Town Regional Court after South Africa's Department of Home Affairs sought to have her detained pending deportation.
