Popular Nigerian internet personality and finance commentator Emmanuel Obruste, widely known as GehGeh, has set social media ablaze after videos from what appeared to be his traditional wedding circulated online.

The footage showed GehGeh dressed in matching traditional attire with a woman during a ceremony, prompting many Nigerians to congratulate him while others accused him of contradicting his previous views on marriage.

He recently made headlines after advising TikTok star Peller against getting married at a young age, arguing that financial, emotional and mental maturity should come first. He later said he would still attend Peller's wedding despite disagreeing with the decision.
