Kaduna Community Attack: Residents Report More Than 30 Killed in Naridon Village

Residents and community leaders in Naridon Village, Kauru LGA of Kaduna State, said more than 30 people were killed in an overnight attack. Local accounts also reported injuries and homes set ablaze, while full official casualty confirmation was pending at publication time.

Residents and community leaders in Naridon Village, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State, reported that more than 30 people were killed in an overnight attack by armed men.

According to local accounts, attackers entered the community late at night, opened fire and set houses on fire. Residents said women, children and elderly people were among the dead, while others were injured.

What Local Sources Said

Community sources said eight children were among those killed. Survivors also described people fleeing into nearby bushes while homes burned.

Residents said at least four injured people were taken to medical facilities.
