Tinubu Declares: "No One Is Taking This Position From Me"

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a strong political message to both his supporters and critics, declaring that "no one is taking this position from me," as political discussions ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.

Speaking during a meeting with members of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, Tinubu dismissed suggestions that pressure from the opposition or criticism of his administration would force him to back down.

"They want to scare me off? It is a lie. I have been through this path before," the President said, insisting he remains focused on governing the country despite mounting political attacks.

Tinubu's latest remarks come at a time when opposition parties have intensified criticism of his administration over issues including the economy, insecurity and the rising cost of living.

The President, however, maintained that he is not intimidated by political opponents, arguing that his long political career has prepared him for the challenges of leadership.
