Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama Still in DSS Custody as Rights Groups Demand Release

Samaila Ibrahim Kaigama, President of the Borno South Youth Alliance (BOSYA), is still being held by the Department of State Services (DSS) following his arrest in Abuja after media appearances in which he made allegations concerning the rescue of abducted residents in Borno State.

Kaigama was reportedly taken into custody shortly after granting interviews to television and radio stations, where he alleged that ransom payments were made to secure the release of abductees and raised questions about the handling of the operation.
